Follow Canada's Maple Leaf Trail from Niagara to Montreal on this wonderful ten-day adventure, discovering the diverse cultures of Canada's eastern cities and the beauty of the surrounding landscapes as you travel.
Spend two nights in Niagara Falls, where there'll be plenty of chances to take in these famous falls. See them from below on the Hornblower Niagara cruise, or from above on a thrilling Helicopter Ride where you'll hear the thunderous roar of the water from above. You'll then follow the Maple Leaf Trail along Lake Ontario's northern shore, soaking in glorious views as you travel, to visit four beautiful, contrasting cities.
First is Toronto, one of North America's most cosmopolitan cities, divided into distinct neighbourhoods which reflect the city's mix of cultures. Next is Canada's historic capital city, Ottawa, followed by picturesque Quebec City, where the New World still resembles the Old, and finally glorious Montreal, French Canada's capital of style.

Today you'll arrive in Niagara, where you'll meet your tour manager at the airport before transferring to your hotel.
You'll be located right by Niagara Falls, so enjoy your first glimpse of one of the world's greatest natural wonders as soon as you arrive.
Spend the rest of the day exploring your new surroundings, or making the most of the resort's facilities. You'll find many restaurants, bars and shops, and there's always the magnetic, mesmerising draw of the roaring waters nearby.

Day2Niagara FallsNiagara Falls, Canada
You'll have a day in Niagara Falls today to spend as you wish, perhaps setting sail on the Hornblower Niagara cruise for a spray-soaked passage close to the foot of the torrent, formed at the point where the Niagara River plunges over precipices in two spectacular cascades.

Day3Niagara-on-the-Lake and TorontoToronto, Canada
This morning, there's a chance to take a thrilling Helicopter Ride over the Falls, offering outstanding views of the crashing water. Please note supplements apply for the helicopter ride.
Later, you'll journey to the exquisite town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, one of Canada's oldest settlements, and continue to Toronto, on the banks of Lake Ontario, for a two-night stay.
There'll be a guided tour to introduce you to one of North America's most cosmopolitan cities, which is divided into several distinct neighbourhoods reflecting the city's mix of cultures. You'll visit Chinatown, Greektown, Little India and Little Italy, as well as Victorian Cabbagetown and stylish Yorkville.
Later, enjoy your first evening in Toronto, perhaps by exploring some of the sleek developments along its Waterfront, its glitzy shopping malls and the slender needle of the CN Tower.

Enjoy a free day to spend as you wish in Toronto, making the most of your time in the city.
Those with a head for heights might head for the CN Tower, where the very brave can experience the stomach-churning Edge Walk.
If you'd rather keep your feet on the ground, take a stroll along the Waterfront promenade or laze on the city's beaches, head for one of the city's fine museums and galleries, or visit historic Fort York, one of Canada's most important battlefield sites.
You can also take in the neo-Gothic opulence of Casa Loma, one of Toronto's most recognisable landmarks, or shop till you drop at the Eaton Centre.

Day5Lake Ontario to OttawaOttawa, Canada
This morning, you'll follow the Maple Leaf Trail along Lake Ontario's northern shore past attractive Kingston, the gateway to the Thousand Islands and the St Lawrence River, to Ottawa, where you'll check in to your next hotel.
You'll spend the night in Canada's beautiful, romantic capital, with its Victorian houses, Grand Parliament buildings and famous Rideau Canal.

After some free time in elegant Ottawa, you'll re-board the coach and continue your journey to historic Québec City for a two-night stay in the heart of the city.

Today, you're free to explore Québec City, one of Canada's oldest settlements. You'll have the chance to join an optional guided city tour before exploring the narrow, cobbled alleyways of the lower Basse Ville and its upper Haute Ville counterpart, which together form endlessly enthralling, UNESCO-listed Vieux-Québec, a district dominated by the monumental Citadelle and the Château Frontenac hotel.

You'll check out of your hotel this morning and travel to Montreal, where you can choose between joining an optional sightseeing tour or spending the rest of the day at leisure.
Montreal combines cutting-edge modernity, French style and flair, and is a cosmopolitan mix of high culture, high fashion and high tech. The guided tour will show you the pretty Vieux Port area and the lively Plateau Mont Royal and the waterfront, which rivals Vancouver's for glass and steel architectural marvels, and contrasts with the bohemian groove of trendy Plateau Mont Royal and Vieux Montreal.
