Join us for a memorable summer's day in June on board a private luxury train as it glides through the unspoilt Kent countryside.

You'll get a sense of the grandeur of the British Pullman as soon as you arrive at London Victoria and meet liveried stewards and fellow guests excited for the delightful journey ahead. As you travel, a delicious brunch will be served in your beautiful Art Deco carriage, at a table set with pristine white linen and bespoke glassware.

Marvel at the ever-changing views through your picture window as the train courses through the Kent countryside and watch the scenery become greener and greener, as you arrive in the chalky downlands that are so sought-after by winemakers.

Making this day trip extra special is a visit to the wonderful 400 acre wine estate, home of Balfour Winery, with wine expert Oz Clarke, who'll host an informative tutored tasting. You'll be welcomed with a glass of their delicious bubbly, created in the same way as fine French Champagnes, and get a fascinating insight into grape-to-glass winemaking with an illuminating guided tour.

Spend time wandering the peaceful estate, which comprises 400-acres of manicured vineyards, apple orchards, wildflower meadows and ancient oak woodland, all rich in flora and fauna.

On the homeward journey you'll be treated to an exceptional gastronomic four-course dinner, accompanied by the sommelier's carefully selected wines. Soak in the exquisite surroundings of the train and the heavenly views from the windows. Before long, you'll arrive back in London Victoria, as your wonderful day to the Kent countryside comes to an end.

Each carriage is individually named and has a fascinating story. Some were favoured by the British Royal Family, and two were part of Winston Churchill's funeral train. Others, like Audrey and Vera, survived bomb damage during air raids over London's Victoria Station in 1940.
